Every time we are scheduled for an appointment it takes at least 2 hours or more. If they cannot see you at your scheduled appointment time they shouldn't schedule so many people.
I had both eyes done within about 2 months time and have had at least 4 trips up to ABQ. for surgery and two followups after surgery, then numerous follow up trips to this local facility I am happy with this convenience. I have found them to give "excellent care" to me and to my husband. You will find that you have to wait at any "eye facility" if you want "excellent caring doctor's". I highly recommend Eye Associates for you eye care.
Excellent care here as long as you don't mind being lied too. Make 100% sure what your insurance covers and have them triple check as well.
If you value your time, I don't recommend this office. It took over an hour after my appointment time to be seen by the doctor.
Eye exam, discovered cataracts in both of my eyes, I was then referred to Dr. M. Ritsma eye surgeon in ABQ, which by the way is also very thorough.
My wife and I have been going here 2.5yrs. They are busy, but they are very thorough. My wife has early glaucoma. Very competant care for her. In June I was seeing flashes of light in right eye and they took me right in as a walkin emergency. Sorry if any had to wait a little longer, but if you are the one facing blindness, not just getting glasses, it's comforting that Eye Associates care.
