After nearly 4 hours of receiving the delivery, I decided to call Ramos Flower and Gift Shop in order to make a complaint and inquire if the flowers are sprayed with some awful perfume. We learned that all arrangements are treated with a fragrance for delivery. Now explain this one to me, why the hell would you spray flowers with a fragrance of any kind?! A preservative, sure but why mask beautiful flowers with some nasty smelling Dior knock off....I just don't get it.
P.s. my mother used vinegar water on the flowers and put baking soda in the water in the vase to neutralize the smell, and the carnations are beginning to smell like carnations. Yay! So if anyone else receives such unhelpful service as I did, you will be able to salvage your bouquet too.

Let me start off by saying, the customer service is spectacular! If you need a flower arrangement, a birthday surprise, a little gift for a friend or loved one, as well as a quick 'forgive me' gift for your girlfriend that got mad at you last night. Ramos Flower Shop is the place to go. Not only are the flowers beautiful but their shop hours are long and convenient. You couldn't find a better place.
Extremely disappointed with both the bouquet and service. My mother received a bouquet from an out-of-town family member today. The flowers were sent in response to a death in the family. Upon receiving the bouquet, we were of course touched by the offering.
Anyway, I was told that there was nothing to be done, and that since the person who purchased the order did not specify NOT to use the fragrance, we were S.O.L. So here I am writing a terrible review that could have been avoided if the shop had merely offered an exchange. All in all I am extremely saddened by the death that has occurred in my family, and am very upset that my mother has to either decide to cross her fingers and hope for the smell to fade or throw her beautiful (not to mention expensive) flowers away.

Within a few minutes of the flowers being present in our home we began to notice a strong, sickly, and unpleasant smell emerging. The bouquet did contain lilies so in the hopes of ending the smelly aroma , we removed them from the bouquet and placed them outside to air out. Unfortunately, the terrible smell continued to fill the house and began to cause sneezing in our family members.
I hope that no one else receives such a heavy handed perfumed bouquet because it's definitely not the service one has paid for. I will not return to the shop, nor will I encourage anyone to use their services.
My wife had received a bouquet from there and like the previous review we had to dispose of the flowers within a few hours after trying to figure out what the smell was. We thought they might of had manure that was not washed off properly, but now I know its a perfume. (that is really weird to put a sent on a flower, right?) Wish you could add 0 stars.. and we didn't even purchase from there it was a gift.
